So, the past 3 months training has taken us to this point. The team has come along way in a short time.
The tears, the sweat, the occasional spilling of blood. Its all been for this reason…

The GSU Scottish Kettlebell Open 2013

Myself, Rich, Russ and Mykie will be once again stepping out onto the platform to prove Manchester men can lift!
I’m very much looking forward to what is going to be a great event. There will be some of the best lifters in the UK and Europe attending, let alone two exceptional Russian World Champions in Rudnev Surgey and Alekzander Khovstov. What a privilege it will be to watch those two lifters perform and inspire greater fetes from the rest of us.

My guys have had some ups and downs in training, but all in all it’s gone well, and anything can happen on the day….without putting any undue pressure on them I’m expecting some good results.
There a strong, determined bunch, so it’s going to be interesting to see how they perform on Saturday. As always I’m very proud of what they have achieved in each competition we’ve attended so far. I’m sure this one will be no different north of the border.

The pressure is off, for now, until our home competition in April.

Here’s to a great event in Glasgow.
Safe travels my friends. Manchester Kettlebell Club will be seeing you shortly.
